Nori

Nori is a shelf made from a folded sheet of steel.
The fold is not ornamental. It gives structure to the shelf and, at the same time, defines its character. A technical gesture becomes a visual sign. The profile suggests, with restraint, the movement of a seagull in flight. The reference is quiet and almost abstract.
